The cost of an in-person tasting experience is dependent on the number of people attending, format, the spirits to be sampled, and the selection of additional event options (e.g., custom glassware, food pairings, etc.)
In-person tasting experiences start at $75 per person for up to twelve people. (This does not include the cost and purchase of spirits)

Each Tasting Experience includes the following:
Pre-event planning consultation to select the tasting’s spirit selections based on the client’s preferences regarding spirit style, number of selections, and the available liquor budget.
Coordination of liquor procurement for your event.
Customized tasting aids (e.g., flavor wheels, tasting mats, glassware) for your event.
Food pairing recommendations for your event’s spirit selections (if applicable). We will have a small supply of snacks to accompany the tasting.
An entertaining spirits expert to lead the tasting, provide education, and answer questions from your guests.
Bragging rights for hosting the best event of the year.

We will provide basic food pairing recommendations at no additional cost. For an additional fee, we will consult with your venue’s host or catering staff to craft a one-of-a-kind menu paired to your event’s spirits of choice.

Yes, all guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend the tasting experience. It is the responsibility of the event host (you or your company) to confirm that all attendees are at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to request proof of age/Identification for any guest that we feel may not meet the legal drinking age requirements.

The number of spirit samples will vary according to your preferences and budget. We suggest a minimum of four (4) selections, up to six (6) selections.

Yes! You may choose a branded flight, a tasting based on proof, age, etc. We will recommend spirits for you to purchase, but we also welcome your suggestions on which types you would like included in your tasting experience.

A typical in-person tasting experience will last between 90 to 120 minutes. This depends on how many people in your group, spirit selections, tasting format, group questions, and interaction with the host. If there is a strict time limit needed, just let us know. We will be happy to customize the tasting experience to fit your needs.

We strive to offer an experience that excites and delights the guests. That said, you obviously want to make sure that your guests drink alcohol and are open to trying new things – even if they are not an active distilled spirits drinker. We promote a friendly, fun atmosphere.

OGST is based in Greensboro, NC but can appear in your city within NC and SC (some travel expenses may apply). We have connections with spirits experts in select cities outside of NC and SC that we can recommend. We strive to bring the spirits tasting to you!

An agreed upon event proposal, along with a deposit of $100.00 of the tasting fee. We will add the total costs of the purchased spirits if we are to purchase them on your behalf. Contact us to reserve a date for your very own tasting experience. You can contact us at info@oldgsospirits.com and fill out a form for your experience date, time, and location. You can also add your choices to the cart with the amount of people.
